The ultimate 200 mile ultra marathon in Wales, Wild Horse 200 is one life changing adventure across the trails and mountains of South Wales, along Offa’s Dyke, traversing the Beacons Way before catching the Heart Of Wales Line on to the Wales Coast Path and finish line at Worm’s Head.

Wild thing, you make my heart sing — and you make me discover 200 miles across Mid Wales. The Mid Wales 200 is back in 2026, calling out to those bold enough to take on its wild, rugged beauty. Are you ready to answer the call?
“ALL ULTRA RUNNERS ARE MENTALITY MONSTERS, THEY FIND A LIGHTHOUSE IN THE DARK AND RUN WITH IT”
Rhys Jenkins, Race Director

You make everything groovy, Wild Thing

I’ve run 3 times with Pegasus Ultra Running and each time I’ve felt so supported, looked after and encouraged. From personal touches like a phonecall from the RD, no cut offs, no judgement. All runners/walkers welcomed. The best marshal’s and incredible aid stations. sign me up for more next year I’m in
I don’t know where to start. It’s the first time I’ve left a review for something that has impacted my life so much. I can’t recommend this event enough. The organisation is outstanding. The support from the race director Rhys is unbelievable. The lasting memories I’ve made during the event leave me lost for words. If you’re looking for a 200mile Ultra Marathon, don’t look anywhere else. I genuinely believe the support these guys offer is another level to anyone else, they will fill you with confidence and surround you by support.
Fantastic event that is totally made by the superb organisation and the amazing crew of volunteers.
The Epona is a tough event which you would expect for a 100 miler but the payoff is out of this world.
The views on the course are simply breathtaking but this pales next to the complete support of Rhys and the rest of the crew. I felt special at every single moment of this race right from the pre race phonecall, registration and pre race briefing through every checkpoint and right to the finish line, nothing was too much for the crew no matter the time of the day.
